Quick and Savory Green Beans


I needed the color green on the plate next to my pork chops. I think I have mom my to thank for this compulsion. Anyways......sticking to my mission, I found frozen green beans and here is what I did.

Quick and Savory Green Beans

1 1/2-2 cups frozen green beans
1 Tbsp butter or margarine
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp soy sauce
1/4 c. Oscar Mayer Real Bacon Bits

In a skillet, over medium-high heat, melt butter and add frozen green beans. Let beans heat through completely. Add soy sauce, brown sugar and stir to coat. Add a little more butter, if needed, and real bacon bits. Serve immediately.
