Comforting Crock Pot Stew

If you could take comfort and put it in a crock pot...this is it.

Tender potatoes, sweet carrots and flavorful stew meat covered in delicious gravy.

This stew even makes rainy days and Mondays feel better. Especially rainy days....

Crock Pot Stew

1-2 packages of stew meat, cut up and browned
1 package of pre-cut carrots
8 potatoes, peeled and quartered
onion, chopped (optional)

Mix Together:
1 can cream of celery (I used 98% fat free)
1 can cream of mushroom (I used 98% fat free)
1 (4 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix

Layer in Crock Pot:

1. 1/2 meat
2. 1/2 veggies
3. 1/2 sauce
4. remaining meat
5. remaining veggies
6. remaining sauce

Cover and let cook in crock pot for 4-6 hours. Cook on high for 1 1/2 hours and then on low for the remaining time.

Note: When I am short on time, I parboil the potatoes and carrots to make sure that they are cooked through.

This is how my daughter and hubby like it. Covered in fresh ground black pepper. That's way too much for me. :)

  16. I really love to go a spa, my body feel relax and comfortable with myself, i think everyone must to take a time to go a spa although be once per week, this practice is very healthy and it could help you even if you have sexual problems. Another alternative is to buy viagra. The spa is really good, i advice you.
