Jerky.com sent me some of their all natural, gourmet fruit jerky to try. I was first impressed by the packaging which included the ingredient list: Pineapple and honey. That's it. Two ingredients. No preservatives, colors or anything else.
Now for the taste test.
I love pineapple, but I have never been wild about dried pineapple. I have always thought that it had a weird texture and and the sweeteners took away from the natural taste.
Then I tried the sun ripened, Maui pineapples used in the Pineapple Jerky from Jerky.com.

P.S. Check out Jerky.com for buffalo jerky, beef jerky, turkey jerky, venison jerky, elk jerky, ostrich jerky and alligator jerky. Most of the items come with free shipping! I think I found a great Father's Day gift that my husband would love!

mmm, that looks like a lovely snack
ReplyDeleteI was supposed to get some from them too, but it hasn't arrived yet. I can't wait to try it, although I didn't realize it was fruit jerky. I thought it was like pineapple flavored beef jerky! Oops!
