This is a little something that I picked up from my mom. It is so simple....it's genius.
1. Get yourself a cup or a mug.
2. Put some chocolate chips inside the cup. 1 Tablespoon of chocolate chips is 1.5 points. Okay, okay....I used a heaping Tablespoon. :)
3. Pour 1 cup of cold skim milk over the chocolate chips. 1 cup of milk is 2 points.
4. Eat chocolate chips and milk with a spoon while sitting on the couch watching American Idol!
Those cold chocolate chips and milk are so simple.....and yet so good! And 3.5 points ain't that bad either!

I've never considered milking up my chocolate chips. I think I may have to try that. Isn't it true that everything is better with chocolate!

ReplyDeleteSounds like an easy, delicious treat to me! I found some dark chocolate chips in the bulk bins at our local Fred Meyer store. I'll give this a try!

ReplyDeleteOpened bags of chocolate chips are not safe around me. I bet warming the milk a bit first so the chips melt a bit would be yummy too.

ReplyDeleteAnd/or warm the milk to melt the chips and stir to make a hot cocoa. Would that work? Now I'm curious. I want both. ;)
My problem would be sneaking more chocolate chips and going back for me. Sounds like a great combo.
